The Top places to take kids in Las Vegas
Las Vegas is the entertainment capital of the world. While it is generally an adult’s paradise, there are plenty of options for children, too. Aside from luxury movie theaters, glow in the dark bowling alleys, miniature golf and indoor go kart racing, check out the following other fun, family recommendations from a real Las Vegas local.
Tournament of Kings Dinner Show
Children and adults alike will enjoy this dinner show with action packed with jousting and stunts. Guests can enjoy a vegetarian option or forego dinner altogether for a lower charge. If you call early enough, they will incorporate a birthday wish into the show. To get to Hinds Injury Law Las Vegas from the Tournament of Kings show follow these driving directions.
Nevada Special Events
It is best to check local events before you come. When the weather is nice, there are fun, outdoor events nearly every weekend, such as Renaissance Fairs, local art shows, reggae and other music festivals, and food festivals. Check out
The Golden Knights of Las Vegas
The Golden Knights hockey team plays at the T Mobile arena. If you get there early (and it is recommended you do) there are plenty of restaurants to enjoy outside the arena, such a Sake Rok. Sake Rok is a fun sushi restaurant where the staff breaks into signing and dancing and guests are invited to participate. There is plenty of parking, but to avoid high fees, ride share services are recommended.
Red Rock Canyon in Las Vegas
Red Rock Canyon, located in western Las Vegas just past Summerlin, is a beautiful national park that sits on the far west side of the valley. Temperatures are very high in the summer, so hiking is not recommended at that time. You can drive or bike the 13 mile scenic “Loop” anytime of the year, but check park hours. The park also offers world class climbing and bouldering. For your first visit, it is best to stop at the Visitor’s Center where they will assist you in selecting the correct hike for your party based on your skill, desire, and age of travelers. There is a fee to enter the park. http://www.redrockcanyonlv.org/contact-us/
Mt. Charleston
Mr. Charleston, just outside of The Las Vegas Valley is a 45 minute drive from Las Vegas where you can hike, picnic, or have lunch at one of 2 restaurants on the mountain. The peak of the mountain sits around 11,000 feet, so weather can fluctuate, and you can be surprised by sudden showers. It is best to check local conditions before setting off. Skiing is also offered in the winter in Lee Canyon at the Lee Canyon Ski and Snowboard Resort. They offer lesson and all gear rental. Charleston and need a personal injury attorney, follow these driving directions to Hinds Injury Law Las Vegas. You can also reach us by sending us an email on our contact form.
Fashion Show Mall in Las Vegas
For your kids that are more the indoor type, the Fashion Show Mall is the major Las Vegas shopping destination. This mall boasts the largest Forever 21 in the United States, which occupies 2 stories. As a side note, we find the least appealing part of this mall is the food court, which offers just mediocre food. We recommend eating elsewhere.
